This 1285 mailing list formatter supports certain
markup features you may choose to use.
If a paragraph starts with -, it will
be treated as a bulleted list item.
Numbered lists can be created by starting a
line with either Arabic or Roman numerals followed
immediately by a period or a right parenthesis.
Examples include
17., XVII., or
xvii. (Roman numerals must be either
all uppercase or all lowercase;
Xvii. will not work.) or
24), XXIV), or
xxiv)
Standard email quotes can be created by starting
paragraphs with a >. Remember
that once formatting is applied to the mail,
all lines of the paragraph will be prepended with
the > character. The formatter is
aware of this, and if you edit the
paragraph and reformat it, everything will be
taken
care of by the formatter.
If you create a single line containing three or
more dashes like --- or
-------, it will expand to a
full-size horizontal rule.
